This unit was made in Japan by Mitsushita. |

The 8 track was disassembled, cleaned and
degreased. The capstan was removed, cleaned, re-assembled and lubricated.
The belt was serviced. I cleaned and demagnetized the head. |

The internal amplifier was repaired and
tested. All panel lights work. The unit looks good save some scratches and
wear from the many years of service. |

The 8 track sound is very good. The AM and
FM have very good reception and sound great. |
|
There are two sets of stereo outputs. The
first set (L&R channels) are for speakers (16 ohm, though I've been
testing on 8 ohm speakers without problems). They are powered outputs.
The second set of (L&R) outputs are line/ record outputs. You will be
able to record all your good 8 tracks onto your MP3 or your hard drive. |

This unit has a stereo phono input for a
phono with a ceramic cartridge. |

There is a stereo head phone jack.
