The SC-440 received all new power supply capacitors.

The built in stereo amplifier can feed two speakers of 4, 8 or 16 ohm impedance each.

This Harmon Kardon is a very high quality, all transistor unit  made in the USA. (c. early 70's)

This unit was repaired and serviced. The VU meter for antenna signal strength does not work.

The output has two 2N2836 transistors on each side( L & R) operated in tandem as class A.

The sound is exceptional. SN # 1780379

The record player is a Garrard, fully automatic AT-60 with a Shure M44C cartridge.

This unit has a very strong AM/FM tuner that pulls in the stations very well.

The walnut cabinet is the best I've seen. There is a plastic dust cover which is in good shape.
