Emerson Model 718 AM/BC 5 Tube Clock Radio

This poor radio was begging for a rebuild so I cleaned it up and repaired it.

I replaced the 2 power supply caps, cleaned and lubricated the tuner, and replaced 2 weak tubes with new ones.

This Emerson is a typical 5 tube radio made in New York in 1953.

I realigned the IF transformers to 455 kc and aligned the RF and antenna circuits

I cleaned and serviced the clock which has an alarm that buzzes, or will turn on an appliance using up to 1100 watts.

This radio is teal green with no cracks and sounds like new. It needs a home that will play it. SN# 150B-15071038
