"Edu-Craft" 78 RPM record player (tube type)

This is a unique collectable. It has only one speed for 78 RPM records. It is of a small suitcase design, light and easy to carry.

If I were a 78 record collector I would take this unit with me so that I could test the records before buying them.

I have disassembled and cleaned the motor, lubricated it and reassembled it.

The power supply capacitor was replaced and the single 70L7 tube was tested. It all is perfect.

The 70L7 tube is both the rectifier and amplifier for this unit. One tube does it all.

This player works and sounds great.

I had the original  crystal cartridge rebuilt by Gib;  westtechservices@yahoo.com; www.west-techservices.com

 A new needle was installed.
