 | I have completely tested, repaired and serviced
this reel to reel. The motor bearings and capstan were lubricated.
All switches, linkages, and pots were cleaned, deoxidized and lubricated.
The heads were cleaned and demagnetized. All rubber parts; idlers and the
capstan pressure roller were treated and rejuvenated. Everything works
perfectly. This machine is simple to use. |
 | This machine plays and records stereo tapes in
one direction. |
 | To record and playback the second
stereo tract, horizontally turn and swap reel positions 180 degrees. |
 | This unit is cosmetically almost perfect. The
sound is superb. The chassis is all metal and has walnut, wooden sides
and a wooden back. |
 | 2 speed: 3 3/4" (9.5mm)/sec, 7 1/2" (19mm)/ sec.
It also has "sound on sound" and 3 heads |
 | There is a stereo headphone jack; left-right
microphone inputs (1/4 inch jacks)`; a set of left-right line inputs and a
set of left-right line outputs. (rca jacks) |
 | Since this is a deck you will need to connect
this unit to your stereo system amplifier through your aux/tape/line/cd
input. Don't have an amp?
I have many for sale. To listen you can also use a standard set of stereo
head phones with a stereo 1/4 inch plug. I have head phones too. $10-
$199. |
 | This unit would be great for recording your reel
to reel tapes to your hard drive or MP-3. SN. 80906-00895 |
